Blend chickpeas, garlic, cumin, cayenne, salt, lemon juice, olive oil, tahini, and half cup water. Use canned or cooked chickpeas.
Close lid tightly. Blend to crumbly texture. Pause, open carefully. Add water if needed. Mix well, scrape sides.
Run blender for smooth, thick consistency. Hummus ready to enjoy! Adjust salt to taste if desired
Top the hummus with olive oil, paprika, parsley, and serve with pita, falafel, veggies, meats or with the dishes of your choice.
