Prawn/Eral masala thokku is an authentic seafood dish from South India, and it is spicy, juicy and tasty side dish that can be enjoyed with rice, chapati, roti, idly, dosa, and similar dishes

In a bowl, take cleaned prawns and add chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, and salt

In a pan with medium heat, add oil, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and urad dhal and wait until it splutters

Cook the prawn in medium heat with the lid closed for about 10 minutes

Now open the lid and simmer the stove and cook the gravy for at least 10 minutes or until the gravy leaves oil from its sides

Switch off the heat and garnish the prawn thokku with some curry leaves

Serve the warm spicy prawn masala thokku with rice, dosa, idly, or chapati
