Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba, also called Tiger Milk Tea, is a Thai drink known for its rich, sweet, and chewy goodness. It's great for both hot summer days and cold winters, with its signature tiger stripe presentation.
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Add 1 cup of instant boba pearls and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and continue cooking until the boba doubles in size (refer to package instructions if needed).
Once done, drain the cooked boba and keep it in the water (if not using immediately in the sugar syrup). Reserve for later use.

Notes
Helpful Tips for Perfect Brown Sugar Milk Bubble Tea:
Cooking Boba: Adhering to the package instructions is crucial for preparing Boba. This ensures you get pearls that are soft, chewy, and not rubbery.
Brown Sugar Syrup: While organic brown sugar is my choice for the syrup, feel free to substitute with dark brown, light brown, or palm sugar powder for a similar taste.
Creating Tiger Stripes: For the signature tiger stripe effect on your glass, swirl it after adding the brown sugar syrup and Boba. Let it sit for a few minutes, then add ice cubes and pour in cold milk. This technique gives the drink its iconic appearance.
