Notes
Here are some tips to perfect your Watermelon Smoothie:
Add Frozen Fruits - Watermelon is naturally a high water content fruit that will turn watery once blended. So I highly recommend using frozen watermelon to achieve a thicker smoothie. I have also used frozen strawberries that perfectly pair with the taste of watermelon.
Other Fruits - You could also add banana, mango, and pineapple for additional flavors. Since I wanted the flavor of watermelon to be more prevalent, I added just strawberries. Strawberries usually do not beat the flavor of watermelon and they both work well together
Liquids - You can use oat milk, almond milk, regular whole milk, or water as a liquid for blending the smoothie
Yogurt - Thick yogurt like Greek yogurt delivers a rich, thick, and creamy texture to your smoothie. Not only that, but it is also a good source of probiotics that is good for digestion
Sweetener - Feel free to use sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, agave, stevia, brown sugar, or coconut sugar that are handy for you. Even though the watermelons and strawberries are naturally sweet they may turn bland once blended. So I recommend adding a little bit of sweetness to your drink
