Ingredients
The ingredients that you will require to make this delicious Almond Milk are just 2. But you can also add optional ingredients to flavor or sweeten up the milk. Guess what? Unsweetened Almond Milk is usually best when compared to sweetened ones. So it is always optional to add in the sweeteners or any other flavors to spruce up its taste.
- Raw Almonds - I would recommend to use raw almonds instead of roasted ones to achieve the perfect flavor and taste of the drink. Usually roasted almonds consists of lots of oil and salt which is neither healthy nor it tastes good for this recipe
- Water - I have used 3 cups of filtered water which gave me a thick milk. But you can also add 1 or 2 cups in additional to make a thin milk
- Seedless Dates (optional) - Even though I have added dates to flavor up the milk, it is totally optional to use this ingredient
- Salt (optional) - I have used salt to enhance the natural sweet and nutty flavor of the milk but you can feel free to skip or use it

Both Almond Milk and Oat Milk are plant-based and dairy-free milk used as a substitute for cow's milk. Both the milk are mostly fortified with calcium, vitamins, and other nutrients that are present in cows' milk especially if it is store brought. But if we compare the taste, sustainability, flavor, or thickness both are unique on their own.
Especially the two positive nutrition like proteins and fiber are only in trace amounts in oat milk. While it is rich in almond milk. Additionally, almond has a lot of healthy fats, that lacks oats. Also, Almond Milk is low in calories.
