The strawberries are usually cooked with sugar to make a pulpy syrup and then it is added to cold milk to enjoy it as a decadent drink. This drink is one of the popular drinks in Asian countries like Korea and Japan. It is usually enjoyed as a treat, snack, or even along with breakfast.
Even though this drink has a good source of calcium, vitamin d, and other essential nutrients from fruit and milk, it also has a good amount of sugar. This makes the drink not fall under the healthy category. Since the store brought drink is added with preservatives and additives, preparing it in the home makes it healthier. I have also added only a minimal amount of brown sugar to make the drink light and healthy.
Yes if the fruit syrup is added hot into the milk, then there is a high possibility of curdling. So I suggest the syrup cool down completely to avoid curdling the milk
